This forward thinking school has a very modern approach, but also were very aware not to lose their heritage and history when developing their new branding. Following many consultations with staff, parents & governors and student interaction, the decision was taken to include imagery which was historically significant to the school – we HAD to save the tortoise!
We also needed to include the four school houses into the branding, and although the school wanted a more modern approach, we also needed to include a more traditional style of typography.
The logo had to sit comfortably in a wide range of materials, both digital and printed. We also needed to allow for branded clothing to feature the new logo.
The new branding was approved for use by staff and students and has been embraced as the new logo for the school… and gladly, we saved the tortoise!
