HOW WE DID IT:
Mandarin Stone
The Brief
Mandarin Stone are a supplier and importer of luxurious natural stone tiles, and one of the leading companies in their field. Their products feature in some of the most beautiful homes up and down the UK and they are rightfully proud of their reputation.
Their corporate catalogue design was the key part of their sales activity, showcasing their products and delivering a clean and easy to use reference for their entire product range. It would feature literally hundreds of products, with a multitude of finishes and textures, but somehow needed to feel less like a catalogue and more like a coffee-table book.
Our Solution
Working with the client, an unconventional format was chosen to lift the catalogue from the standard A4. This was combined with a stylish structure to help the customer find their way around the catalogue and a range of beautiful phototographs to really showcase these great products.

The first section of the catalogue was done in a brochure style with a mix of company background, general information and eye-popping photographs. This section then gave way to the product pages – with easy to navigate categories, helping customers to find and select the products. We even managed to squeeze in a technical section which helped with everything from tile patterns, buying the right amount of tiles and even the right typed of grout!

The tactile nature of the product was reflected in a mixture of coated and uncoated stocks paper stocks, and created a catalogue that you couldn't help but pick up and found difficult to put down!
