Cushman & Wakefield Investors are one of Europe's leading property investment managers, with offices in London, Paris and Frankfurt. As the credit crunch began to ease, it was tme to take a look at freshening up the existing website that had served them well for a number of years.
The Brief
Although the existing site had been successful, CWI were keen to do more with the new site, and the ability to update the site quickly, easily and reliably. Our Caboodle CMS system was an ideal solution, and offered complete control, and the opportunity to extend the system to an interactive client area in the future.
Our Solution
We created a strong fresh corporate style for the new site, with simple and highly practical navigation. The three-dimensional header used the strong corporate colours and contained the logo in a simple device that carries throughout the entire site.
The homepage uses strong images of the European cities that the company operates from, and we incorporated a gentle pan to add further depth and interest. Within the body of the site, the people pages were very important for a team that relies so heavily on their expertise and experience. The simple mechanism that reveals their biographies made it easy for customers to see the profiles of people they were working with, and the intuitive WYSIWYG interface means new team members can be added quickly and reliably.
The site also makes use of web fonts to enable it to feature the Gill Sans corporate typeface rather than using a generic sans serif as an equivalent.
