ECD Architects Brand Evolution
ECD Architects are a company committed to providing a more environmentally friendly approach to building, both in the residential and commercial property sectors. Not only do they pay careful consideration to the materials used in such developments, but they also by gauge the performance of each project throughout it's entire lifetime.
The Brief
Our brief was to create a corporate identity for ECD. We were provided with a logo and were asked to devise an application which would reflect the Company's 'green' credentials and present them in a clean, professional way. A whole range of literature and digital applications were required, so the identity also had to be flexible enough to be used right across the board.
Our Solution
The original identity needed a bit of cleaning up, but the company were really keen to hang on to their well-established logo. Through subtle styling and careful choice of colours and type styles, we were able to create a clear, strong branding, which could be carried onto various forms of communication.
The identity has already been successfully implemented to create stationery, direct mail leaflets and corporate brochures, as well as a brand-spanking new website.
The company were keen to have full control of the site and to make editing and adding content as simple as possible – so we designed it round our own custom CMS system. This enables them to take advantage of a whole range of easy-to-use features and puts them firmly in the driving seat!
