Pharmocare Branding
Pharmocare are a successful chain of chemist shops in London providing a full prescribing pharmacy service to local communities. They also offer a diverse range of health and beauty products and have a proud history of delivering a caring, friendly and knowledgable service.
The Brief
Having recently changed their name from Napclan to Pharmocare, they were in need of a new, modern identity which would better reflect their professional credentials, and be able to compete with their big-name high street rivals.
They were keen to build on their reputation as a family-friendly pharmacy, but also wanted to push the other range of services that they had to offer. With a loyal customer base however, they were keen not to alienate their regular customers and keep their core message – one of a caring family business.
Our Solution
A clean, fresh and modern identity was designed to feel friendly and caring, but also help them stand out on the high street and compete with the likes of Boots and Lloyds. This was achieved by using a strong colour palette and using a friendly typographic style.
The identity was flexible, with the use of several coloured variants of the logo, 'sub-branding' each department of the business, bringing a sense of clarity along with a more cohesive house style.
As well as rebranding the stores themselves and designing various printed literature, the style was also extended to a website. The company were keen to embrace the web and offer a fully interactive site which could feature help & advice, a handy prescription service and even photo processing!
